Dear Shake Down:
I gave a break until February 19 and I will move the debate to 19.org, since there was too much noise there. Besides, Ali is chopping my answers and depriving some of my points from their context by eliminating the quotations in them. He also skipped some important points of debate without leaving any trace that he had skipped them.
I will inshallah briefly refute his latest answer and start answering their criticism to the Quran.
Peace;
Edip

Peace all,
The problem with a debate with Ali Sina is that he uses very general unsupported statements as part of his 'debating' style. Nevertheless here is his list of charges which he wants to debate.
| "Ali Sina's charges" |
I accused Muhammad of being:
a rapist
a pedophile (had sex with a child)
an assassin
a mass murderer
a lecher
a misogynist
a narcissist
a looter
a mentally disturbed (was paranoid, heard voices, hallucinated of seeing jinns, Satan and angels, suffered from depression and had suicidal tendencies).
|
Now the so called charges are based on ahadeeth - for example the pedophile charge is only through these narrations. We are not told the ages, names or number of 'wives' that the messenger had.
To 'debate' Ali he would have to declare what his sources for these charges are. The charge of pedophilia thus must be dropped but Ali believes in the ahadeeth as much as a hard-core Sunni as they are essential to his nonsense arguments.
I think a debate is therefore futile.
Regards.
